The bus ride wasn't that bad to be honest. You think 16 hours... Killer! But it was actually fine - we got a constant supply of water, tea and coffee. We had free wifi on the bus. There were 3 gentleman who were with the bus company and looked after everyone well - they were so friendly and tried the best they could with conversations with the little English they knew. The high level of service made bus journey much more enjoyable.
The bus journey is good to see the sights of Turkey and see how beautiful the country really is. We saw a lot of sea, forestry and town houses. TWe would make stops every 2 hours which would do your head in sometimes - because you'd be like just get me there.... But they had to cater to everyone's needs.
We had to change buses at 4 in the morning to get to 'Goreme' and then we arrived at 7am.
