Day 23 - Budapest to Croatia (Pag)

We caught an early train ride at 6am and arrived in Zagreb at 1:15pm. We hung out, ate some food and caught the 4pm bus to Pag. Today was just a full day of traveling, which can be boring - so we killed time playing games on our ipads and sleeping, you don't spend any money which is a bonus!

The bus ride from Zagreb to Pag is beautiful, I got my first glance of the Mediterranean Sea - pictures can't do this place justice. Absolutely Stunning!!!! I have never seen such clear, turquoise water in all my life.

We taxied to our apartment in Casca called 'Apartment Busic' - such a cool apartment, 2 bedrooms with a big kitchen, deck and bathroom, a perfect spot for out 5 night stay.

We had a few drinks at ours then headed down to Zrce beach - where all the clubs are and had a few drinks, home at 3am! We only expected to go out for a few quiet drinks as everyone arrives in Pag tomorrow, but the clubs were cranking that we just couldn't help ourselves.

Starting to feel a little under the weather with a sore throat... Typical - it had to come when I finally get to the beach.

Travelers Tip:
Always take food with you on long train rides, as Ben and I expected the 7 hour train ride would sell food - never assume!
