Day 42 - Syros to Kos

Finally we all feel rejuvenated after staying in the hotel and having a good sleep-in. We have hired 1 room out, until our ferry at 11pm tonight which we have put all 5 of our bags in and we will use it for showers later, it only cost €25 to hire the room for the day so €5 each is keeping within our tight budget.

Ben and I go out for brunch at the same place we went to last night. I had an amazing fruit salad with yoghurt and a cappuccino and Ben got an Omlette with fries and a freshly squeezed orange juice which came to €17 all together. The food was 10 out of 10 but the service was lacking!

Another beautiful day in Syros, we hit the sea for a swim as its a calm 30 degrees today - without the wind you can really notice the heat! We talked to a guy from Holland who got off an amazing 50 meter super yacht, that was made in Australia. He was nice and his life on the boat sounded pretty sweet.

It's a busy spot Syros, full of locals as we have noticed they can't speak much english.

We have dinner with a few pizzas, beers and wines and get ready for the late night ferry that we have to catch to Kos, which arrives the following morning at 4am........

Once we are onboard we go to reception and ask for an upgrade (currently in economy for €38) we get upgraded to beds for an extra €13 each - which is a great deal because if we had booked beds online we were looking to pay €80. And the rooms are really comfy with a bathroom.
