Day 33 - Santorini to Ios

This morning we paid for our accommodation €36 for 2 nights - highly recommend this hostel as its in a great location and has a great view of the water.

We caught a shuttle to the port for only €7, organized by our hostel.
Our ferry was suppose to leave at 11:40am, but it was delayed, which meant - we missed the Ab vs. Wallabies game which kicked off at 1pm our local time - to say the least the boys were not impressed. The ferry was massive and so flash inside - pic attached. We had prebooked the ferry for €17 each and we just had to pick our tickets up from the port.

We got to Ios and there was a free shuttle to 'Far Out Beach Club'. We arrived at the place at half time of the game so we joined the rest of the kiwis and Aussies as we watched the ABs win 27-19! Woohoo. I felt too
sober for the situation and I just watched so many drunk Kiwis and Aussies getting on the drink.... Wow we really do know how to be rowdy. I was scared for what was install for me for the next few days...

We are staying in a 3 person cabin which is the basics of all basics but we had booked a bungalow for the last 2 nights.

We enjoy the day party drinking on strawberry daiquiris and mojitos for only €5. As the night goes on the dance floor starts to fill up. We are sitting on the edge of the dance floor so we have some good entertainment until we are drunk enough to get up there ourselves. I even got up on a stand and had a little boogie - I'm the silhouette on the left.....

The music stops at about 10ish and we went and got ready for the night ahead, we caught a bus right outside our camping spot for €1.60 and it took us straight to the clubs. We club hopped from bar to bar looking for the best music and best drink deals. Here in Ios, they have people outside trying to get you in with great drink offers and the bar next to them will be trying to compete with an even better deal - so win-win for s consumer. You could get 2x cocktails for €5 or a shot for €1. We got a chicken gyro to soak up the alcohol and had a 30 minute walk home which was fine we wouldn't have done it if we didn't have Ben with us though. You have to be careful in areas you don't know about!
All in all - this place knows how to party that's for sure!
