Breakfast was provided by the hostel, but it was pretty standard - just bread, jams and juice.
We walked around the shops today buying presents and souvenirs for ourselves and for our families. Ben brought me a cute bracelet. Chrysta was the most successful shopper out of all of us - she has been eagerly waiting for a day to shop and boy did she shop!
We took pics of the famous white and blue church and all of the pretty white houses. You see photos of this place and only dream about coming here, it's so surreal to actually be here and to see it for yourself - it's such an awesome experience!
I LOVE SANTORINI!!!
We walked down donkey lane, and took stunning photos of the scenery, we went for a swim in the ocean and took some great underwater pics. Having an underwater camera is perfect for a trip around the mediteranean - I would highly recommend getting one before you travel.
We got donkeys back up the lane for €5 - this was quite the experience. It was like the donkeys were racing each other and sometimes I would get pushed to the side of the wall and my leg would graze up against it. It was so much fun though, I was in fits of laughter all the way up. You can walk up the hill for a bit of exercise, but if you want a Greek experience - you have to do this!!!
We went back to our pool spot for the afternoon, lounging in front of the pool on a gorgeous summers day - I wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world right now than right here.
Chrysta, Ben and I went out for dinner, where we had a yummy Greek salad which cost us €6 each and then we went and watched the sunset again.
Another lazy night chilling out at our hostel. The hostel is a nice spot to hang out in and you get a great view of the water. You come to Santorini to chill - not to party really. We are going to enjoy the calm before the storm in Ios and Mykanos.
Woohoo - new island tomorrow...
You'll be able to tell by my pictures that I am just inlove with this place! To have my own pictures of Santorini will be with me forever.
