Day 36 - Ios

Beach day with everyone :) sun, swim and drinks - perfect day chilling with everyone as there were no strong winds so the beach became packed as the day went on.

We went out for a dinner at 'Harmony' and ran into Holly. The food at Harmony is amazing - Mexican ad right on the water - highly recommend this place! I got a yummy Greek salad with chicken tenders and it was only €12

It was such a nice dinner and with good company of our friends.

Chrysta unfortunately couldn't come because of heat stroke. It was a very hot day today but she didn't realize how hot it was until she got indoors. she was feeling ill - so she just slept it off.

I've never been bitten by so many Mosquitos here and they were in our bungalow and there was no getting rid of them. Worst sleep ever!

'Far Out Beach Club' I would recommend staying here if you are between 18-23 and you are single. If you are after more of a relaxing holiday but you still want to go out - stay in one of the numerous hotels / motels along the beach - which some of our friends ended up doing. You can only ever have a good sleep here if your drunk and even then you wake up in a ball of sweat because it's so hot in the tents and bungalows.
We are definitely ready for the next island.

Apparently we have been told Ios is dead at the moment and that the peak time was in July. We have enjoyed i being on the quieter side so that you don't have to wait for simple things - bathroom, food, drinks etc.
