We got up super early for our 8am bus ride to Penang. Unfortunately since our bus wasn't full enough we had to wait till 9am till we left. Ben was not happy as he didn't want to miss the 3pm NRL Grand Final.
The bus journey was long and tiring with a few switches and having to get on another bus we got to Penang at 2:15. We caught a taxi to our hostel called 'Red Inn' and met up with Katie and James who had traveled here yesterday. James had already sorted out a good pub to watch the game in. At 3pm kick off we made it just in time to catch the whole game. We were going for the Bulldogs to win, but the Storm definitely deserved to take home the cup.
Back at our hostel, we chilled out watching TV. I caught up with Chrysta on the telephone - she has just arrived back in London after an amazing time in Barcelona, Munich and Ibiza. She is off to Bali on Friday for 2 weeks :)
We have to get up early for a 3hr ferry which leaves at 8:30am, so early night for us!
