Day 51 - Istanbul to Bali

We enjoy our complimentary breakfast in the third restaurant of the hotel! We have quick cold showers as there was a 'technical problem', pack our bags and then in the shuttle and off to the airport we go...

The international airport was busy to say the least. We saw 2 guys trying to get 6 huge luggage bags checked in - but they were turned away! Gutted.

We flew with Malaysia Airlines and WOW I was impressed! It was about a 9hr flight and during that time we were offered; variety of juices, tea, wine, beer, snacks of snicker bars, brownies, cheese and crackers, an actual yummy dinner of chicken with a nice chocolate brownie and whipped cream for dessert. For breakfast we had an omlette with sausages and fresh fruit and yoghurt. I watched 4 movies and the hours just flew by. The airline gave everyone pillows and blankets to help them feel cosy for the long flight. We were in seat 39A and 39C so right at the back - but this spot was close to the toilets and the people sitting in the middle area didn't realise there were toilets there so they were always available for us.

We had a 2hr stop over in Kuala Lumpur and then a 3hr flight to Bali with Malaysia Airlines (woohoo).
