We got in a taxi and drove to 'Kayun Hostel' in Legian where we are staying in a deluxe room for $25 each a night. This place had a lot of high ratings on Hostel Bookers so we thought we would give it a go. The place is quite modern and clean and the receptionist was helpful. I would definitely recommend getting your own room as the 16 room dorms look shit and the shared bathrooms look gross.
We walked to the beach and brought a mi gorieng for only $2 - so delicious!
Ben had googled Aussie sports bars as we wanted to watch the All Blacks vs. Argentina game - and we came across this bar called 'Y'. We walked 15 minutes from our hostel in the scorching sun and found the sports pub packed out. It was playing the NRL finals downstairs and the All Blacks game upstairs. So we enjoyed a Bintang beer for $2.40 and watched the game - a great way to enjoy the afternoon!
We got some nibbles and watched the Wallabies vs. Springbok at our hostel. We are having a chilled night as Katie and James who we are traveling Asia with arrive tomorrow :)
