Day 75 - Malaysia

It was a sightseeing day for Ben and I, as I have been to KL before but Ben hasn't so I was his free tour guide.

We caught a tram into the city which took 5 minutes from where we are staying. We visited the twin towers, the amazing 6 story shopping mall which I purchased some jeans and a jumper from Zara to wear when I get back to NZ, and we visited the sky tower. The sky tower had base jumpers jumping off it which was cool. There were 100 of them from all over the world doing it over 2 days.

We went back to the mall for some frozen yoghurt as it was a very muggy day, we came across this cool shop called 'Tutti Fruiti Frozen Yoghurt' where you put your own flavors of frozen yoghurt into a tub and then add sauces, fruit and lollies and then they weigh it and you pay based on the weight. The frozen yoghurt mixed with fruit and lollies was soooo yummy.

We went back to our hostel and then went to the night markets where we enjoyed a feast of Asian food and looked around the markets. Ben brought 5 Calvin Klein briefs for $2.60 each and I brought a Louis Vuitton makeup bag for $3. China Town is a good spot to stay in - it has cheap, delicious food and close to the city, plus you get more bang for your buck for your accommodation because you're not staying in the city center.
