Day 52 - Bali

We arrive into Denpasar at midday and make it through the airport with only a few glitches.

- Note to all travelers: You must pay $25US dollar when you arrive into the country as a holiday visa. We already knew this - but it looked like a lot of unprepared people were frustrated.

Also one of my padlocks was missing off my suitcases so Ben and I slowly went through everything to see if anything had been planted in my bag....

We were greeted at the front gate by a man holding a 'Creative Holidays' sign. He whisked us away to our hotel in 20 minutes and offered us some good rates on guided tours. The biggest time waste can be getting from the airport to your hotel so if you can book a transfer before you arrive - it makes things a whole lot easier.

We had arrived at the mother of all hotels 'Villa Seminyak Estate and Spa' - we are in paradise. Creative Holidays picked us out a goody! We got a free juice on arrival and a nice cold, wet towel at its a humid 30 degrees. We get taken to our room - and it's just absolutely bliss. The bungalow doors open out onto a massive pool. The bathroom is lush, the kitchen is massive and there are some great complimentary waters and teas for us too :) The king sized bed upstairs is decorated with a frangipani flower and feels like a little hideaway from the rest of the living area. We have been treated like royalty with the service being 10/10 and we think it can only get better. This has been a great way to start our trip.

We are in heaven!
