At 8am we meet down at the beach for some breakfast with our tour guides. We were given a nice breakfast so we were excited about what the rest of the day would bring.
Once we got on the boat, we asked where the fishing rods are - the guide said there were none. Ummm okay we thought there would be fishing. Any way we let it slide. We arrived at our first island which the snorkel and the googles didn't fit together so you could only use one and not the other, but it didn't matter we only saw sprats. Next island we were promised a nice fish or chicken baguette, which they only had fish to give us, so poor Katie who isn't a seafood lover had to fill up on bread. By this time we are just so over it.
The last island we went to was gross - on the open water you could see the sea was filled with oil. At these times you appreciate how green we are in NZ and how well we protect our shores.
After a tiring, disappointing day we hide in our hotel to get away from the sun as both Ben and Katie got quite burnt today.
Dinner and some local Cambodia beers (Angkor) for a big night as we're off back to Phnom Penh tomorrow. We got drunk off $.25 beers and $1 red bull and vodka. We met a cool Aussie couple who were travelling, so we hung out with them for most of the night. It was a really good night out!
