We arrived at 'Sihanouk Ville' at 4ish and walked around trying to find a hostel / guesthouse to stay in on Serendipity St. This spot is where all the restaurants and guesthouses are as its on the main strip of beach.
We book into a hotel called '@home' which is pretty standard with a fan. $10 a night, hopefully it won't be too bad.
We go to 'The Big Easy' restaurant to watch the NRL - NZ vs Australia game. Typical NZ lose again.
We finish the night with a walk along the beach. There are people letting off fireworks, drinking, the music is pumping and there are a lot of locals and tourists partying everywhere. Everyone has come here for the long weekend. It's definitely nice to be by the beach again.
