Vietnam has been a great, cheap place to travel around, from $.50 beers to $2 for a main. The people here are really nice and helpful. We didn't find the shopping to be overly great, the way other people have talked it up to be, but we have brought some good pieces for us to wear when we get back home.
We went out for dinner at the 'Hanoi Backpacker Hostel' and feasted on some European food. It's Halloween so a lot of the people staying at the hostels get dressed up and have a big drinking night. Unfortunately Ben and I have to get up at 5am tomorrow to catch a flight to Bangkok so we pass on the boozy night.
