Day 117 - Thailand

We head out for brunch at a very popular restaurant called 'No 6'. The restaurant was also reasonably priced compared to anywhere else. I got the pad Thai which was delicious and Ben got a chicken cashew stir fry, but it was spicy even though he asked for 'no spicy'. Overall is was a good food spot that we will be coming back for dinner.

We head around the shops and get the jist for prices. We would get annoyed with the people who would give us just an outrageous first price that we would just walk away without bartering as we couldn't be bothered with people like that.

We had an ice cream cone at McD's. All the common takeaway spots are the same prices as back in NZ which sucks! We found coke bottles for $.80 here which is great value!

It was such a hot day that we cooled with the air-con in our hotel room in the avo. The owner of our hotel had 2x dogs with 4x month old puppies. They were so adorable and kept us amused for a while.

We went on a walk around the streets once it turned dark and we found the place to be pumping with life! From people with pet lorus's on their arms to any one and everyone trying to see you stuff. It was a little overwhelming ....
