Arriving at 5am into 'Surat Thani' we waited for our free shuttle to come to take us to our bus. We ended up getting picked up and transferred to 3x locations before we got to the bus stop. Unsure why this happened but anyway.
We arrived in Phuket at 12ish. We caught a tok tok to Patong Beach. This is the hot spot of Phuket.
We missioned around in the heat to find accommodation. Ben found us a basic spot at 'Star Tailor House' for $10 each a night.
We walked to Patong Beach which was an average looking beach compared to the other beaches we have seen on our travels so far. The shopping looks good here though, but the food is pricey! We will make the best of our time here in Phuket before we gap to Auckland.
