Feeling rejuvenated after a long sleep we check out of our hostel and taxi 10 minutes away to our hotel.
Hotel:
We booked our hotel (Radisson Blu Le Dokhan's) through Creative Holidays and it's the most amazing hotel I have ever seen - Very boutique. Service was out of this world, we got an upgrade on our room to Deluxe. The staff were exceptional - giving us a run down of how close the sights are, what the weather is going to be (27 degrees) and opened the door and took our bags to our room. The room was small but gorgeous! The bed is lavish and so soft and comfy, we are in pure luxury! The toilet area is a bit tiny, but the bathroom is spacious and came with more than enough towels / toiletries.
Sights:
We walked 5 minutes and saw the Eiffle Tower again.... You can never get sick of seeing its beauty!! We took some more pics and carried on our day.
We jumped on the double-decka bus and went back to the Lourve and saw the famous Mona-Lisa painting. You can't appreciate it's beauty or history until you see it up close, that goes for the rest of the museum too! The history of the paintings, rugs, sculptures, plates etc which date back to the 15th century have so many stories behind them, it has changed the way I think about art and makes me feel inspired.
We then visited the Notre Dame and took a few pictures. Since it was such a mint day we sat across the road and had a beer and just enjoyed the view. We brought a few souvenirs from the surrounding touristy shops.
We then hoped back on the red tour bus and cruised around the rest of he city, looking at - museums, shopping malls, bridges and admired the historic architecture and even saw a photo shoot with a hot model getting out of a limo.
We arrived back at the hotel, got some camembert, humus and wine from a local grocery store and chilled in our room, relaxing for the next days adventures!
